James D. Davidson, CLU, CPA, ChFC, CEBS, President
Jim Davidson is President of EOI Service Company, Inc. and a founder of the company. Recognized as an expert in voluntary benefit programs, Jim has published numerous articles on voluntary benefits and related topics and has been a featured speaker in both life insurance and benefits industry association meetings nationwide. Jim is a past director of the Chicago Association of Life Underwriters, a past member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the Illinois CPA Society, and past President of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. He was inducted into the International Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame in 1999 and, in 2009, was named Benefits Selling Magazine’s Broker of the Year.
Rick Cass, ChFC, CLU, REBC, RHU, Executive Vice President
Rick is one of the owners of EOI and is responsible for Client Relationship Management, as well as recruiting, training, and managing EOI’s enrollment team. He began his career with the Equitable Life of the U.S in Chicago and joined EOI in 1983. Rick was responsible for developing EOI’s process of high touch client service which has been a key factor in making EOI the industry leader in maintaining long-term voluntary benefits enrollment relationships. He is a past Director of MI2 and resides in Chicago, where he manages EOI’s Midwest office.
Katie Bikulcius, CEBS, Chief Operating Officer
Katie is EOI’s Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the company’s strategic business planning. In this role, she continues to enhance EOI’s relationships with its client, broker, and carrier partners, resulting in a superior customer service and management process. Katie brings to EOI 20-plus years of industry experience, most recently serving as the Vice President of Salesforce Effectiveness at Voya Financial. Previously, Katie served Aon Hewitt as a Senior Vice President, where her responsibilities included people management, process implementation, ongoing assessment and improvement of processes, oversight of system investments, communication to leadership team and consultants nationally, procurement of carrier panels, legal agreements with carrier partners, and ongoing carrier relationships.
John Allen, Chief Distribution Officer
John is Chief Distribution Officer for EOI and is also an owner of the firm. John executes and develops strategic marketing initiatives on a national level, specifically focusing on the enhancement of value-added services that EOI provides for its clients. Since joining EOI in 2009, John has played a key role in the area of strategic marketing, building an outstanding implementation team in the Chicago office and tripling sales in the Midwest region.
John is known as an industry thought leader, strategically positioning value-based solutions for HR business partners that reach far beyond voluntary benefit offerings. He actively participates as a panelist and speaker in industry events, such as those sponsored by Benefits Selling, LIMRA, Worksite Mania, NBGH, and others. John is also in the process of completing his CEBS designation.
Keith Davidson, Senior Vice President and Director of Benefit Support Center Operations
Keith has been an integral part of EOI’s communication and enrollment services since 1986. He worked in the field as a benefit counselor from 1986 to 1989 and then as an enrollment manager from 1989 to 1993. He has had extensive experience in the training and management of benefit counselors. Since 1993, Keith has brought his management skills to his role as head of EOI’s Benefit Support Center (BSC), which is the headquarters for EOI’s national call center enrollment services. He is responsible for all call center enrollments throughout the country, including webinars and other electronic means to support EOI’s voluntary benefit enrollment projects. He is extremely knowledgeable in both core and voluntary benefits and is an effective communicator of benefits to blue, gray, and white collar employees at all levels.
Steven A. Davidson, CLU, Consultant
Steve began his business career in the Treasury Department of a major operating division of Tenneco. He is one of the founders of EOI and, in 1981, engineered the first ever enrollment of a voluntary universal life program using micro-computers in the U.S. Steve plans and manages the annual enrollment process for many of EOI’s largest clients. He is also a member of the International Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame.
